Gavin/Solmonese announced that Wayne P. Weitz was promoted from senior director to managing director. Weitz joined the firm in 2012.
Gavin/Solmonese said managing director, Boris J. Steffen, was named as one of two co-chairs of the appraisal & valuation subcommittee of the American Bar Association Litigation Expert Witnesses Committee.
Gavin/Solmonese expanded its team with the addition of turnaround expert Timothy G. Skillman as a managing director in its Los Angeles office. Previously, Skillman served as a principal in Grant Thornton’s corporate advisory and restructuring practice.

Alvarez & Marsal has appointed Gabrielle Reijnen as a managing director within its corporate restructuring team for the Benelux in Amsterdam. Prior to joining A&M, Reijnen was head of Corporate Coverage and a member of the management team with RBS.
