Capital One Bank Expands Commercial Banking Business

Capital One Bank announced the appointment of four Commercial Banking executives to help lead the company's expanding Commercial Banking presence in Richmond, VA.

The four new associates are:

  • Bill Casey, senior vice president and relationship manager for Capital One Bank's Middle Market Banking Business. Casey joins Capital One Bank after a decade serving middle-market companies in the Central Virginia region with Bank of America and BB&T Bank.

    Prior to these roles, he held a number of commercial banking positions with Bank of America and First Interstate Bank in southern California. Before his commercial banking career, Casey received a B.A. from University of Southern California, where he studied finance and economics.

  • Kip Hurd, senior vice president and underwriter for Capital One Bank's Middle Market Banking Business. Hurd joins Capital One Bank from SunTrust Bank where he most recently served as a senior credit officer for Southwest Florida.

    Over the last two decades, Hurd held various roles in the Commercial Banking and Corporate & Investment Banking divisions of SunTrust Bank. He received a B.S. in Finance from Ferris State College and an M.B.A., with a concentration in finance and marketing from Arizona State University.

  • Bob Davis, senior vice president and senior regional credit officer for Capital One Bank's Mid-Atlantic Commercial Market Business. Davis joins Capital One Bank from Wells Fargo where he served as a senior vice president and Mid-Atlantic Commercial risk officer. In this role, Davis oversaw all middle-market lending in the Mid-Atlantic region. He also held various positions in the Treasury Services, Commercial Lending and the Commercial Risk Management divisions of Wachovia Bank.

    Prior to these roles, Davis was a senior consultant with Accenture. He received a B.A. from Vanderbilt University and an M.B.A. from The Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University.

  • Janna Lindsay, vice president for Capital One Bank's Mid-Atlantic Treasury Management Sales Group for the Central Virginia region. Lindsay joins Capital One Bank from SunTrust Bank where she spent over two decades in a number of positions that allowed her to work in various capacities including: bank operations, bankcard, treasury analyst and treasury sales. During her career, Lindsay has worked across the non-profit, municipal government and corporate sectors.
