BDO Valuation Advisors Appoints Chandra Vice President

BDO Valuation Advisors announced the appointment of Shilpa Chandra to vice president, based in the New York office.
In her new role, Shilpa brings more than ten years of experience in valuation services and portfolio management to the Business Valuation practice at BDO Valuation Advisors.
Prior to BDO Valuation Advisors, Chandra served as director with Duff & Phelps, where she performed valuations of businesses and assets for mergers & acquisitions, divestitures, financing, financial reporting, portfolio valuations and tax purposes. Before joining Duff and Phelps, she worked in corporate treasury, portfolio management and retail banking functions in consumer products and financial services industries.
Chandra holds a Ph.D. - Finance, from University of Texas at Austin, a MBA from JBIMS, Mumbai, India and a Bachelor in Science - Microbiology from Mumbai University.
