Job Description:

The role of Business Development Manager is to contribute towards the recent expansion of HPD LendScape into the USA. You will be at the forefront, responsible for the continued success of our LendScape package through client acquisition.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Minimum of 5 years of successful technology/banking solutions sales experience and/or commercial lending experience.
  • Experience selling to prospects and clients.
  • Ability to travel – this job is field based (you may be required to work from home/a remote location and travel to meet clients). Primary service area is East Coast into Mid-West.

Preferred Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Demonstrated proficiency in sales generation
  • Experience in a deadline driven environment and evidence of a sense of urgency
  • Experience in sales to factors or non-banks
  • Ability to maintain client relationships

Responsibilities:

  • Research the potential accounts within the allocated geographical territory in order to identify the right individuals, then proactively contact and engage with them in order to uncover opportunities for the sale of HPD LendScape
  • Make and maintain contact with prospective clients at recommended intervals and in accordance with activity targets specified in the sales plan for the territory
  • Articulate the HPD sales proposition, qualify potential interest, and advance each qualified opportunity through the sales cycle to closure
  • Meet with potential clients either in-person or remotely, as is reasonable considering travel and external costs involved
  • Application of agreed sales methodology for the HPD products and services as defined by Sales Director
  • Correctly follow published procedures for the logging of prospect conversations into the marketing database (Salesforce) so that the status of opportunities is up to date at all times
  • Work with and coordinate the efforts of other team members in order to progress sales opportunities in the most efficient manner
  • Prepare and present proposals and respond to RFI’s and RFP’s within deadlines
  • Report to Management and provide forecasts of sales revenues at intervals as required by the business
  • Generate approved revenue in accordance with allocated revenue targets and timescales
  • Participate in marketing events as required
  • Represent HPD in a professional and business-like manner at all times
  • Other tasks and responsibilities as required from time to time to meet the objectives of the business
