• Possess a minimum of five years of underwriting and/or portfolio management credit experience in a cash flow, asset-based, or mezzanine lending environment.
• Exhibit the ability to read and comprehend balance sheets, income statements, and statement of cash flows.
• Possess strong interpersonal and organizational skills, as well as an ability to work independently.
• Strong communication skills are essential in order to work effectively with senior management, internal or external counsel, and clients.
• A disciplined attention to detail, positive attitude and completion of a formal credit-training program are highly desired.
• Bachelor’s Degree with extensive course work in finance, accounting, economics or mathematics is required. An MBA or CFA is a plus.
• Have the ability to thrive in a fast-paced and demanding work environment.
