Durkin Group LLC is a professional services firm providing expertise to over 40 bank,
investment and other financial institutions, on an as needed basis throughout North America and Europe.
We regularly assist commercial bankers, fund managers, asset based lenders, law firms, special asset and
bank security departments.
Responsibilities
The consultant will be responsible for performing the following activities: performing on-site engagements
consisting of field examinations and other customer defined engagements; documenting the findings/results
of engagements in written form through reports and in verbal form with customers and management; managing
multiple assignments simultaneously; communicating with varied levels of client staff such as audit
managers, underwriters, originators and syndication groups. The consultant will function in varying
capacities such as working independently on engagements or with client staff and Durkin Group staff.
Requirements
We are seeking professionals with 3 to 7 years of public accounting, auditing, banking, or financial
consulting experience for consultant positions nationwide. The position requires a willingness to travel
and the ability to work independently. Communication skills are of the utmost importance and
certifications such as CPA and CFE are preferred but not required. Candidates should possess superior
writing and organizational skills and the ability to meet stringent deadlines. Proficiencies in data mining
software such as ACL, Idea or Monarch are a plus.
