Scot M. Weisberg recently joined White Oak Global Advisors as managing director, responsible for special situations loans in White Oak’s private debt portfolio. He brings more than 20 years of experience in credit, portfolio management, special situations and private lending. Scot is currently based in New York but will be transitioning to the San Francisco office in the next few months.

Prior to joining White Oak, Weisberg was a part of CIFC’s Private Debt Group where he was responsible for sourcing, underwriting and executing bespoke credit investments. He previously served as chief credit officer of Candlewood Investments Group’s Financial Opportunities Fund and he was a founding member of Fortress Drawbridge Special Opportunities Fund Asset Management Group. Additionally, he served as senior vice president of Special Assets at Square 1 Bank; as director of Workout & Restructuring at SageCrest; and as COO, Co-CCO and a credit committee member of Alco.
