Wells Fargo Capital Finance announced that Patrick Simpson has been named business development officer for the Middle Market Loan Originations team in New York. In his new role, Simpson is primarily responsible for sourcing and structuring flexible asset-based financings for middle-market companies with credit needs ranging from $5 million to roughly $35 million. Simpson is reporting to Rob Kinne, regional loan originations manager for the Middle Market Loan Originations team, oversees the Northeast region and select areas in Canada.

Simpson joined Wells Fargo Capital Finance in 2005 and has been in various roles while located in the New York, Chicago, Atlanta and Fort Lauderdale offices. He has honorably served in the United States Marine Corp. He is a member of the Turnaround Management Association, Association for Corporate Growth and Opus Connect.
