GE announced the appointment of three new company officers that included
Jennifer VanBelle who has been appointed vice president and chief risk officer, Capital Management at GE Capital.

VanBelle leads GE Capital’s capital planning efforts including the regulatory capital, stress testing, economic capital, and recovery and resolution efforts.

VanBelle has been with GE for 15 years. Prior to her role as chief risk officer for Capital Management, she was the deputy treasurer – External Affairs and Capital Management, and has held various risk and leadership roles supporting Capital markets and the Commercial Finance businesses.

VanBelle holds her undergraduate degree in Economics from Bates College and a master’s degree in Finance from the London Business School.

As of January 1, GE will have 194 officers globally who lead large revenue-generating businesses or are in critical functional roles, helping to drive growth.
