US Capital Partners announced the recent addition of Sarah Tomita as vice president of Business Development at the firm’s headquarters in San Francisco.

Prior to US Capital Partners, Tomita was a VP at Goldman Sachs in New York, where she developed and managed client relationships in the Consumer/Retail and Natural Resources Investment Banking groups. In addition, she led key M&A and financing transactions, including lululemon athletica’s $377 million IPO, Dr. Pepper Snapple Group’s $10 billion demerger from Cadbury Schweppes, Univar’s minority stake sale and acquisition of Basic Chemical Solutions, and Terra-Gen Power’s $360 million debt refinancing.

“I am extremely pleased to welcome Sarah to the firm,” said Jeffrey Sweeney, CEO and managing director at US Capital Partners. “Sarah has joined US Capital Partners following another year of increased demand from small and lower middle market businesses for US Capital Partners’ innovative and customized debt and equity financing solutions. Sarah will be responsible for all aspects of US Capital Partners’ debt and equity business development, advisory services, and client relationship management.”
