U.S. Bank Names Market President for Portland Area

U.S. Bank announced it has promoted Stacey Dodson to the position of market president of U.S. Bank in Portland and Southwest Washington.

Dodson will lead the market in company-wide efforts and activities, and will direct commercial banking in the Portland metropolitan area.

“We welcome Stacey to this new role and have every confidence in her ability to carry on the legacy of service and support customers have come to expect from U.S. Bank through the years,” said Richard Davis, chairman, president and chief executive officer of U.S. Bancorp. “Our U.S. Bank heritage runs deep in Oregon and Southwest Washington. We are proud of that heritage and honored to carry the name that began in 1891 when the very first U.S. Bank opened its doors on First Street in Portland.”

Dodson succeeds Malia Wasson, who retired from U.S. Bank earlier this year. Dodson had been a division manager for U.S. Bank Commercial Banking in Portland prior to this promotion, and before that was the region manager for U.S. Bank in Central and Eastern Oregon, based in Bend.
