U.S. Bank Asset Based Finance said it has appointed Bobby Bans as senior vice president based in Los Angeles. Bans will focus on the origination and structuring of asset-based loans for the Western region’s expanding base of commercial clientele.

Bans has more than 15 years of experience in underwriting, portfolio management and business development. Previously, he served as senior vice president in the Business Capital division at Bank of America Merrill Lynch and has also held leadership positions at Bank of New York and GMAC Commercial Finance.
