Trade Finance Solutions has provided a $1 million supplier credit facility to a privately owned textile manufacturer. The supply chain facility will provide repayment terms of 120 days and support the company’s elongated inventory conversion cycle from the purchase of raw materials to the sale of finished goods.

Based in Guatemala since 1987, the company specializes in producing fabrics and clothing made from polyester, cotton and their blends, supplying the market with top quality products. They import raw materials from the U.S. and supply customers in Guatemala, El Salvador, Honduras, Nicaragua, Costa Rica, Mexico, U.S., Chile, Puerto Rico, Cuba, Colombia and the Dominican Republic.

“The facility will provide longer repayment terms and allow the manufacturer to optimize working capital,” said Bruce Sim, senior vice president of Trade Finance Solutions. “Additionally, the company did not have to tie up its existing bank line of credit to access this cost-effective financing.”
