According to an article on mysanantonio.com, the bankrupt Scooter Store will begin the wind down of its operations in the coming weeks. The company, which filed for bankruptcy earlier this year, was also subjected to a Justice Department investigation over alleged Medicare and Medicaid fraud, the article said.

My San Antonio noted that the company’s board of directors decided to liquidate the business after it was notified that it was being cut off from Medicare business.
