TD Bank has named Cynthia Mayer as vice president, senior commercial loan officer in Charleston, SC. She is responsible for providing a range of lending services to middle-market companies and not-for-profit organizations throughout the Charleston region.

Mayer has 27 years of experience in commercial banking and lending. Prior to joining TD Bank, she owned a consulting firm, Papillon Consulting, in Milford, MI. Her career also has included senior-level positions at Michigan Heritage Bank, Key Bank and Citizens Bank in Michigan.

A resident of Charleston, Mayer received an MBA from the University of Detroit and an undergraduate degree from the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor.

Separately, the company announced that it has named William B. Quantz as vice president, senior relationship manager in Charleston. He is responsible for providing a range of banking services, including cash management, financing and risk management, to municipal governments, not-for-profit organizations and businesses with up to $500 million in annual revenue located throughout South Carolina, Savannah, GA, and Wilmington, NC.

Quantz has more than 17 years of experience in commercial banking and lending. Prior to joining TD Bank, he served as a relationship manager in commercial banking at SunTrust Bank in Charleston and Savannah, and as a client manager in middle-market banking at Bank of America in Savannah.

He received a Master in International Business from the University of South Carolina in Columbia and a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Virginia in Charlottesville.
