Sun National Bank has grown its commercial lending team to expand its focus in Central New Jersey. The bank has appointed Patrick Farrell senior vice president and regional manager to lead the new territory. Steven Forleiter has been named senior vice president and senior relationship manager, and Brian Schoener has been named vice president and relationship manager of this Central New Jersey commercial lending team.

Farrell has more than 25 years of experience in commercial and consumer banking. Before joining Sun, he held leadership roles at TD Bank, including national sales manager of the healthcare professionals group and regional vice president of commercial, small business and retail lending in Central New Jersey. Earlier in his career, he was a commercial lender at the former Summit Bank and CoreStates Bank.

Forleiter, who has more than 25 years in the commercial banking industry, is a former vice president and senior business development officer with Webster Business Credit. In the past, Forleiter served on commercial lending teams at TD Bank, PNC Bank and Trust Company Bank of New Jersey (North Fork Bank).

Schoener was a vice president and relationship manager in commercial lending at M&T Bank, with a territory of Central N.J., based out of Princeton, before joining Sun National Bank. He also spent 15 years at TD Bank /Commerce Bank.
