Bloomberg reported strategic deals such as spinoffs will keep 2014’s booming market for mergers and acquisitions going well into next year despite a recent dip in activity, according to financial advisors.

M&A volumes have hit $2.46 trillion this year, the highest since 2007, before the financial crisis stymied global deal making, according to data compiled by Bloomberg.
