Stewart Joins First Capital’s ABL Central Division

First Capital announced the hiring of Jason Stewart in its ABL Central Division. Stewart will lead and manage First Capital’s Dallas office and be responsible for all ABL new business activity in Texas and the south central market.

Stewart is an experienced financial professional with 25 years of experience in all aspects of the corporate finance industry including business development, underwriting, portfolio management, treasury, accounting, and operations. Most recently Stewart was managing director of Business Development for the ABL group of a national bank. Stewart started his ABL career with CIT Business Credit as regional underwriting manager and later national underwriting manager. He also held the positions of senior structuring officer and managing director of Business Development at CIT Energy. Past positions also include CEO and director of Themis Capital Corporation and CFO of Enerven Compression, a sponsor-backed energy services company.

Stewart is a Certified Public Accountant, holds the Chartered Financial Analyst designation and is a member of the Commercial Finance Association, Association for Corporate Growth and the DFW Society of Financial Analysts.
