Accounting and consulting firm Stephano Slack promoted Ryan May and Matthew Kardish to the position of senior accountant.

“Both Ryan and Matthew have been with the firm for three years and quickly assumed increased responsibility. They have proven their commitment to our clients,” said Michael J. Stephano, Stephano Slack managing partner. “In addition, they consistently show they understand what matters most in business and in professional relationships. We look forward to their increased contributions to client service and to the firm.”

Both will be broadening their roles to review staff work, lead engagements and train and on-board new staff, as well as increasing their client interaction.

“In my new role I hope to be an asset to the firm on the technical reviewing side, and be responsible for seeing engagements through from start to finish,” Kardish said.

Prior to joining Stephano Slack, Karidsh worked with Morgan Stanley and Haverford Trust, where he gained solid audit and project lead experience.

“I’m looking forward to building my business development skills and to leading the next generation of Stephano Slack accountants. In addition, the firm’s commitment to continuous learning dovetails with my desire to learn something new every day,” May said.

A former personal trainer, May has excellent client relationship and project management skills in addition to strong accounting and tax knowledge.

Stephano Slack operates out of offices in suburban Philadelphia and Wilmington, DE, and provides a range of attest, assurance, tax, business advisory and valuation services to middle-market clients.
