S&T Bancorp announced the promotions of two employees.

Pat Haberfield was named senior executive vice president, chief credit officer. In this new role, Haberfield will be responsible for overseeing the bank’s loan portfolio.

Previously, Haberfield served as executive vice president, chief credit officer. Prior to joining S&T Bank, he was senior special assets officer for a financial institution in Georgia. Haberfield has also held senior management positions at banks in northeast Ohio.

Jim Mill has been elevated to the role of senior vice president, deposit operations and alternative channel manager. In this new role, he will oversee management and strategy of the bank’s deposit operations department, digital channels and internal and external contact centers.

Mill is also assuming a leadership role with the bank’s core processor as the operations contact. Additionally, he will work with the business lines on their operations and technology needs.

Mill previously held the role of vice president, deposit operations and alternate channel manager. Prior to joining S&T Bank, Mill worked for a national financial services company and also held operations roles at a national telecommunications company.
