S&T Bank announced the appointment of Troy D. Greenwalt as SVP, Commercial Banking regional manager; and Laurence S. Christ as SVP, regional credit officer, to its new loan production office in Columbus, OH.

Greenwalt has 25 years in commercial banking in roles of increasing responsibility, and a proven track record for developing and successfully managing commercial and business banking divisions in financial institutions in Columbus. Prior to joining S&T Bank, he was responsible for all aspects of the commercial banking division of a community bank, where he drafted a commercial credit policy, designed and implemented commercial management tools and interest rate risk management programs, and successfully exceeded production, revenue and fee goals.

Christ has a 30-year record of successful credit management, new business development and sales management in community, regional and national financial institutions. Recently, he was part of the team that successfully evolved a community bank to a boutique commercial bank, specializing in commercial, commercial real estate and construction loan relationships.

“We are delighted to welcome two highly qualified and accomplished executives to our commercial banking team in our new office in Columbus,” said Todd D. Brice, president and chief executive officer of S&T Bank. “Troy and Larry have extensive backgrounds in the Columbus market and will play a vital role in helping us extend our brand and grow our business in Columbus.”
