Sony Turnaround Falters, Expects $2.15B Yearly Loss

The Wall Street Journal reported Sony said it expected to post a loss of ¥230 billion ($2.15 billion) for the current fiscal year as it wrote down the book value of its mobile communications unit.

According to the Journal , the Japanese electronics giant also said it wouldn’t pay a dividend in the current fiscal year for the first time since the company’s stock was listed in 1958.
