The Wall Street Journal reported that auto parts maker Transtar filed Chapter 11 bankruptcy with a prepackaged plan.

According to the Journal, Silver Point Capital is providing the company with up to $69.7 million in DIP financing. The Journal also reported that Silver Point is leading a group of senior lenders in a swap of about $425 million in debt for 100% equity in the reorganized company.
