Paul H. Shur joined Windels Marx as a partner. Shur has more than 30 years of experience in commercial transactions, financial transactions, loan workouts and restructures. He has handled numerous matters in the following areas:

  • Sales and lease transactions
  • Secured transactions
  • Asset-based financing
  • Real estate financing
  • Loan workout restructures
  • Real estate title defense and litigation
  • Creditors’ rights litigation
  • Commercial and corporate finance

    He represents financial institutions and commercial clients in transactional and litigation matters, and has significant experience advising on the Uniform Commercial Code, in the areas of sales and lease transactions, negotiable instruments, bank deposits and collections, letters of credit, investment securities and secured transactions.

    Shur frequently lectures and participates at bar association and trade group educational programs. He has also authored numerous articles on the Uniform Commercial Code and commercial finance in various publications, including New York Law Journal, New Jersey Lawyer, ABF Journal, The Banking Law Journal and Uniform Commercial Code Law Journal.
