Riveron Consulting announced that Dan Shockley and Lauren Golanty joined the Chicago office team as senior manager and manager of client relations, respectively.

Shockley will be responsible for growing business in the Midwest region. Golanty will be responsible for client and prospect events, associations, community involvement, client appreciation and brand standards in that market.

Shockley is a results-oriented leader with expertise in business process development and strategic financial planning and reporting. His nearly 12-year career includes finance and operations manager experience in various industries including manufacturing, retail, marketing services, construction and health care.

Prior to joining Riveron Consulting, Shockley was the director of financial planning and analysis for Hyper Marketing. He also served as vice president for Lake Capital where he serviced private equity portfolio companies and performed financial due diligence for potential investments. Other relevant experience includes time with PricewaterhouseCoopers and Plute Homes, Inc.

“Dan has a proven record of developing and implementing financial and operational systems that we believe will be very beneficial in driving business in the Midwest region,” said Riveron founder Landon Smith.

Golanty’s background in marketing, events and development spans 15 years with investment banking, venture capital, executive search, legal and not-for-profit organizations. Most recently she spent six years with Houlihan Lokey Investment Bank in the consumer, food and retail group, where she was responsible for branding and business development.

Prior to Houlihan, she worked in research at Heidrick & Struggles in its consumer and retail practice. Other experience includes tenures as marketing manager in real estate venture capital and with Chicago’s Gould & Ratner law firm.

“As we looked to make our first hire for the Chicago marketing team, Lauren came highly recommended to us by members of our current staff,” Smith said. “In addition to an extensive network of contacts, she has the skills necessary for building and maintaining positive client relationships.”
