Steven P. Seltzer joined Moritt Hock & Hamroff as counsel. He will concentrate his practice in all aspects of complex commercial litigation and cybersecurity matters.

Seltzer accepted the position in the firm’s Garden City office after a successful 25-year in-house tenure at MetLife, where he served as an associate general counsel.

“Our firm is extremely pleased to be adding Steven Seltzer to the team. Having garnered a truly unique range of perspectives and expertise from the past 25 years as in-house counsel with MetLife, I know Steven will prove to be a very valuable resource for our clients and attorneys, both in Long Island and New York City,” stated Marc Hamroff, managing partner.

During his time at MetLife, Seltzer worked with a multi-cultural team across Europe, Asia and Latin America in handling a wide variety of non-U.S. commercial disputes and public company disclosure matters. He also led a legal team in developing a cyber breach readiness plan.
