Schiff Hardin Strategic Advisers announced the addition of Frank D. O’Connor as managing director, based Chicago. O’Connor joins Strategic Advisers from KPMG and will focus on expanding the company’s Midwest presence in providing strategic and restructuring advisory services to the banking industry.

As a KPMG partner, O’Connor served the banking and financial services while overseeing the Chicago office’s Banking/Financial Services Tax practice. He brings 38 years of experience, with significant attention to distressed and failed banks, bank recapitalization transactions, TARP redemptions, debt conversions and regulatory requirements.
