Salus Capital Partners announced that Andrew H. Moser, president and CEO, has been selected as a finalist for the EY Entrepreneur Of The Year 2014 Award in the New England Region. The program recognizes entrepreneurs who demonstrate excellence and extraordinary success in such areas as innovation, financial performance and personal commitment to their businesses and communities.

Headquartered in Needham, MA, Salus Capital provides senior secured asset-based loans to the middle market. Moser co-founded Salus Capital in 2011, recruiting a team of industry veterans and establishing a platform that would provide companies with capital solutions to meet today’s needs and tomorrow’s challenges.

Since inception, Salus has provided more than $1.3 billion in loan commitments to over 50 companies and has more than doubled its staff, currently employing 42 professionals.

“Leading with an entrepreneurial approach to commercial lending has been a cornerstone of our success,” remarked Moser. “I am honored to be selected as a finalist for this award. This recognition is a testament to the overwhelming market acceptance of the Salus platform and the measurable accomplishments the Salus team has achieved since the company’s founding.”

“Three years ago, Andy identified an opportunity to serve an area of the commercial lending marketplace that was underserved historically,” said Phil Gass, managing director of Investments at Harbinger Group Inc. “It is because of his dedication, creativity and passionate leadership that Salus has since become one of the most sought after partners for businesses seeking quality sources of lending.”

Moser was selected as a finalist by a panel of independent judges. Award winners will be announced at a special gala event on June 10 at the Sheraton Boston.
