Salus Capital Partners, LLC announced the hiring of M. Blake Otte as managing director, Business Development and National Market Strategy. Based in New York City, Otte is responsible for the origination and structuring of new business opportunities, the development and nurturing of relationships with strategic partners in the lending, investment banking, private equity and turnaround communities and the continued development of the Salus Capital platform as it makes new concerted entrances into dedicated regional markets across North America.

Otte brings more than 15 years of experience in the financial services and investment management industry including extensive work in Private Equity in various stages of due diligence. Prior to joining Salus, Otte was vice president of Business Development at FGI Finance. Prior to her position at FGI, Otte was a managing director of the Private Equity Due Diligence division at Brown & Brown.

She is also the founder of her own successful small business. Otte maintains her FINRA/SEC Series 7 and 66 licenses and is an active member of several organizations including ACG, TMA and the Commercial Finance Association (CFA) of which she serves as a member of the Planning Committee for the NY chapter. Otte graduated magna cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from New York University and also holds certificates in Finance and Management from Cornell University’s school of Industrial and Labor Relations.
