Riveron Consulting announced David Brink was promoted to market director in the firm’s Washington, D.C., office, and Grant Pollworth joined the firm’s Chicago office as a new director of business development.

Brink will report directly to COO Bruce Cramer, and will lead and manage practice development and client relationship expansion. He joined Riveron as principal in January 2013 and was soon promoted to director.

Before to joining Riveron, Brink served as business development manager at WhosHere, where he joined the technology startup as the company’s fourth employee and was responsible for developing and implementing strategic initiatives to expand the user base and increase revenue per user. Prior to that he was an investment banker with Houlihan Lokey and founded the Washington D.C. office for Cambridge Mercantile.

During his career, Grant gained experience as a successful individual producer and team leader responsible for revenue generation. He mentors rising sales talent while fostering a collaborative, creative and entrepreneurial culture. Key areas of interest and experience include consultative selling, cross-functional team leadership, mergers and acquisitions, workflow solutions and strategic partnerships among others.

Grant comes to Riveron after spending eight years with S&P Capital IQ where he was director of sales. In this time, he saw the company grow from a start-up to an $800 million global firm, which involved challenging acquisition integrations, three spinoffs and multiple re-branding and re-listings. As director of sales, Grant managed sales teams focused on expanding new and existing client business throughout the Midwest by more than $1 million annually. Additional experience includes time at Huron Consulting – Wellspring Partners and Billow Butler.
