Riveron Consulting announced that industry veteran Kevin Kane will lead the firm’s Chicago office in the role of managing director.

For several years prior to joining Riveron, Kane served KPMG Advisory as Director of the firm’s Diversified Financials and Banking Practice – Strategy and Operations. During this time he was repeatedly recognized as a top global KPMG performer for both sales and delivery of transformational opportunities, and was a nominee for the KPMG Chairman’s Award.

Previous career experience also includes time at MasterCard Worldwide, where he served as U.S. central business leader, North American business development of MasterCard Advisors before being promoted to principal of the global advisory strategy group for MasterCard Worldwide. Kane also spent eight years at BearingPoint (previously KPMG Consulting).

Kane is a senior-level business development and consulting professional with extensive history of implementing high-impact solutions for Fortune 500 companies. Kane’s experience includes collaborating with senior client executives to address issues related to assessing business expansion opportunities, driving core business growth and executing targeted value creation strategies. Key areas of interest and experience for Kane include mergers and acquisitions, business and IT transformation, growth strategy, business development, financial management and restructuring and transaction services. Kane’s industry and non-profit affiliations include the Small Business Advocacy Council of Illinois, the Housing and Homeless Commission for the City of Evanston and Evanston Wilmette Community Golf Course.
