Riveron Consulting announced the appointment of chief operating officer Bruce Cramer. Cramer will be based in Riveron’s Dallas headquarters, where his broad responsibility will be management of the firm’s end-to-end operations. Specific duties will include developing and executing strategic plans, effectively allocating human and capital resources, fulfilling prospective technology needs, developing budgets and forecasts, and measuring the firm’s success.

With nearly 20 years of relevant experience in consulting and professional services, Cramer is an experienced strategy and operations executive. He is highly skilled in professionalizing organizations via process development and improvement, large account management, delivery, sales and business development, strategy, business planning, project management and merger and acquisition analysis.

Most recently Cramer served as a client executive and business development consultant at Dell, where he was responsible for managing key clients and pursuing IT services opportunities for the Large Enterprise and Education, State and Local Government Business Units. Prior to that, he acted as a global alliance director for Hewlett Packard. Other leadership positions include time as COO for Priceless Legacy Company and Viscern. In addition, Cramer previously worked for Electronic Data Systems and Ernst & Young.
