Reuters reported Blackstone will invest $100 million in convertible preferred shares, and a $50 million term loan to Rentech, a wood fiber processor, and it will add three directors to Rentech’s finance committee.

According to Reuters , Blackstone’s GSO Capital will invest $100 million through convertible preferred shares and a $50 million term loan to the company, valued at about $412 million.
