Julie Castle was named president and chief banking officer of Rabobank America, a $14-billion, nationally chartered bank and unit of global financial services provider Rabobank Group.

Based in Roseville, CA, Castle oversees multiple business lines including retail banking, business banking, food and agribusiness lending, mortgage lending, commercial real estate lending and wealth management. She also serves on the bank’s board of directors and executive management group.

Prior to joining Rabobank, Castle was CEO of Zions Wealth Management, a subsidiary of Zions Bancorporation. She led the unification and growth of the bank-holding company’s 11-state wealth management practice. She has held additional leadership roles in retail banking, private banking, wealth management, commercial banking and risk management at Bank of America, Wells Fargo, First Interstate BancSystems and E.F. Hutton.

Castle is a three-time recipient of the American Bankers Association’s “Top 25 Most Powerful Women in Banking Team Award,” and has received the Independent Community Bankers Association’s “Best in the Business Award.”
