AlixPartners added growth and transformation expert David Podolsky to the firm’s Private Equity & Investors practice as a managing director. He will be based out of AlixPartners’ Dallas office.

Podolsky brings more than two decades of consulting experience, during which time he developed deep expertise in growth and corporate transformation strategies, particularly in the private equity space. During his career, he has executed large-scale transformation and operational improvement programs for major international airlines, industrial companies, consumer goods companies, and government entities around the world. Additionally, he has supported strategic due diligence on numerous deals for large private equity firms and has led growth and profit improvement plans for multiple portfolio companies.

Prior to joining AlixPartners, Podolsky was a partner at Bain & Company, where he was a leader at that firm’s transportation, industrial goods and services, private equity and mergers and acquisitions practices. In that role, among other things, he oversaw multiple global post-merger integration engagements. He also held several key positions at McKinsey & Company and has substantial international experience, having lived and worked in Mexico, the United Kingdom, Spain, South Korea, and Israel.

“We are pleased to have David join us at AlixPartners,” said Simon Freakley, CEO of AlixPartners. “His breadth of knowledge in growth strategies and extensive background facilitating deals for global private equity firms makes him an instrumental addition to our team.”
