Former Secretary of the Treasury (2006-2009) and chairman and CEO of Goldman Sachs, Honorable Henry M. Paulson, Jr. will be the featured speaker at the Chicago/Midwest Chapter of the Turnaround Management Association (TMA) 2012 Executive Speaker Forum on Monday, November 26 at the Hilton Chicago and Towers.

Paulson will take part in an in-depth discussion about the global economy and economic policies, which will be moderated by Geoffrey Colvin, senior editor at large, FORTUNE Magazine. Colvin will also kick off the evening by providing his perspectives on the economy and the election results during a pre-reception forum.

Paulson has four decades of experience in public policy and economic issues. He continues to be involved in public policy and global markets, especially concerning the potential for strengthening cooperation between the United States and China. He has published a memoir, “On the Brink: Inside the Race to Stop the Collapse of the Global Financial System” and is currently serving a senior fellow at the University of Chicago’s Harris School of Public Policy.

Colvin is an award-winning author, broadcaster, and speaker on today’s most important business trends. He is a longtime editor and columnist for FORTUNE covering topics such as leadership, globalization, wealth creation and related issues. He has authored several books including the bestseller “Talent Is Overrated: What Really Separates World-Class Performers from Everybody Else.”

The Executive Speaker Forum will begin at 4:30 p.m. with “Economic and Election Highlights” presented by Colvin, followed by a reception and dinner. At 7:30 p.m. Colvin will lead an in-depth discussion with Paulson, followed by a VIP dessert reception.

The Executive Speaker Forum was launched in 2009 and has featured internationally prominent speakers including former President George W. Bush, former Prime Minister of England Tony Blair and former Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice.
