Jonathan Lorenz joined Pacific Western Bank as Colorado market president. He will be located in the bank’s Greenwood Village, CO, executive offices.

Lorenz will be responsible for leading Pacific Western Bank’s efforts to establish and expand commercial banking services in the state of Colorado.

Lorenz has over four decades of banking and finance experience. He most recently served as the chairman and CEO of Colorado Business Bank and Arizona Business Bank, the principal operating subsidiaries of CoBiz Financial. When he joined CoBiz, it operated two locations with $100 million in assets. By the end of his tenure, it had grown to 20 branches with $3.5 billion in assets.

Lorenz currently serves on the boards of the Colorado Parent & Child Foundation and the President’s Gift Planning Advisory Council at the University of Colorado.

Based in Los Angeles, Pacific Western Bank is a commercial bank with approximately $24 billion in assets. It currently has 74 full-service branches located throughout the state of California and one branch in Durham, North Carolina.
