North Street Global, a financial services firm, announced that hedge fund industry veteran Kira Bazile has joined as president. In her new role, she will head business development for the firm’s fund administration platform, capital introductions group and global markets division.

“Kira is a well-respected industry veteran and our clients will benefit from her diverse experience in working with hedge fund managers to help them achieve their goals,” said CEO Alex Mascioli.

Bazile has been in the prime brokerage component of the hedge fund industry for over 17 years. Most recently, she was a managing director at BTIG where she focused on developing its prime brokerage product for emerging managers.

She began her prime brokerage career at Goldman Sachs in 1997 where she spent four years managing a client service team that covered some of the industry’s largest hedge fund managers. She then worked at Deutsche Bank for eight years where she helped build the financing and derivatives platform within the newly formed Global Prime Services division.
