Freed Maxick CPAs announced that Timothy J. McPoland, CPA/ABV, CFE, CVA has succeeded Ronald J. Soluri, Sr., CPA as the firm’s managing director, and Robert M. Glaser, CPA as chairman of the board.

Mark A. Stebbins, CPA and current Tax Practice leader has now become vice-chairman of the board. McPoland is now responsible for the day-to-day management and operations of Freed Maxick, furthering the firm in its consulting abilities and expanding its geographic footprint, while Stebbins is responsible for assisting in the development of the firm’s strategic planning related to industry and service practice areas.

Soluri and Glaser will continue to stay involved in the firm, focusing on client relations, assisting in transaction issues and furthering the success of the practice.

The transition has been a critical initiative for the Firm, as part of a strategically designed succession plan. “I am extremely pleased to have Tim and Mark in the leadership role at Freed,” states Soluri. “The transition and our depth of talent in all leadership roles enables the firm to continue as one of WNY’s premier professional organizations.”
