David A. Agay has been named the new managing member of McDonald Hopkins‘ Chicago office. Agay is a corporate restructuring attorney who previously served as the office’s assistant managing member. He succeeds Richard N. Kessler, who served as the Chicago managing member since 2007.

“Since joining McDonald Hopkins in 2011, David has further established himself both regionally and nationally as a leading restructuring attorney and has contributed to the growth of our Chicago office,” said Shawn M. Riley, president of McDonald Hopkins. “I am confident that he will help us continue to grow in Chicago.”

Agay practices in the areas of business restructuring, business counseling, commercial finance, mergers and acquisitions and distressed M&A. He is also a member of the American Bankruptcy Institute and the Turnaround Management Association.
