Lazard hired Cédric Leoty as a managing director in financial advisory. Based in Paris, Leoty most recently served as co-head of Investment Banking at Citigroup France, where he covered the automotive, industrials and energy sectors.

“Cédric is a trusted advisor to CEOs and directors and he has extensive experience in large, complex transactions,” said Matthieu Pigasse, chairman and CEO of Lazard France and global head of mergers and acquisitions. “With Cédric’s longstanding relationships, he will be a great addition to our team in France and globally.”

Leoty, a 15-year investment banking veteran, started his career in 1996 at the French Treasury before he joined Credit Suisse in 2000, then Citi in 2004, where he was promoted to managing director in 2009.
