Ankura Consulting appointed Isaac Lee as a managing director in the firm’s Los Angeles office, where he will join the Turnaround & Restructuring group.

Isaac Lee joins the ranks of Ankura’s business advisory team with more than 20 years experience executing a broad range of recapitalization, restructuring, M&A, and corporate finance transactions.

Lee joins Ankura from PwC, where, as the Western Region market leader, he was responsible for senior execution of advisory engagements, including the development and negotiation of restructuring plans, overseeing sale auctions, and managing operational restructuring and liquidity management initiatives.

Previously, he worked for the investment banking and advisory firm, Moelis & Company, in its Recapitalization and Restructuring Group where he advised clients on restructuring, M&A and financing engagements in various industries including automotive, consumer products, media, industrials and retail.

Kevin Lavin, co-president and leader of the firm’s Turnaround & Restructuring Group, stated, “Ankura is defined by its culture of collaboration and is consistently focused on delivering unparalleled counsel to clients as they face the critical choices necessary to mitigate existing or future business risk. Isaac’s diverse restructuring and transaction experience clearly adds considerable breadth and depth of knowledge to our bench. We are pleased to have him join us at this exciting time for the firm.”
