BHC Capital Partners appointed Nathaniel I. Land and Jeffrey L. Dunetz as senior managing directors. Land will head the Capital Formation process, while Dunetz will head Compliance. This team will join BHC Capital managing partner Deane M. Driscoll and senior managing director Andrew D. Shiftan.

Driscoll said the additions will help the platform capitalize on the significant opportunity in the market.

“BHC has a strong, long-standing franchise in the middle market,” Driscoll added. “The collective talents of the new partners combined with our existing infrastructure gives us an outstanding platform on which to grow and to make a difference in the marketplace. Andrew and I are thrilled to bring Nate, Jeff and George on board.”

Land served as head of Citigroup’s credit products, loan markets and leveraged lending until the spring of 2016, overseeing the development of a team that grew to 50 professionals. Land also served in various positions at Cerberus Capital Management, Citi Special Situations Group and Macquarie Corporate & Asset Finance. Throughout his career, Land has raised more than $100 billion in capital for clients as lead arranger, underwriter and/or investor.

Dunetz has closed more than $85 billion in a wide variety of cash flow and asset-based financings across multiple industries. Dunetz spent most of his career as a partner at the law firm of Mayer Brown. He is currently the senior banking partner at Dentons, the world’s largest law firm.

The firm also added George Psomas, a 30-year ABL-industry veteran, to its advisory board. Psomes founded M&A advisor Maple Street Advisors and has served senior roles at various institutions, including RBS Citizens Business Capital, Alostar Business Credit and Ares Commercial Finance.
