Grant Thornton named Karen Hudson chief sales officer. She will lead the firm’s sales enablement center of excellence and oversee the business development team. Based in Minneapolis, Hudson will report to Nichole Jordan, national managing partner of Markets, Clients and Industry, and will support the firm’s client program growth strategy.

Hudson has more than 30 years of experience leading national sales teams, managing key account relationships and helping clients achieve their strategic objectives. She was most recently at IBM, where she served as a vice president of sales for consumer products and retail clients.

“Karen’s sales acumen will be key in our efforts to develop strong, supportive relationships with audit, tax and advisory clients, while continuing to enhance their experience with our firm,” Jordan said.
