JPMorgan Chase Bank acted as administrative agent on an amendment to Anadarko Petroleum’s revolving credit agreement.

According to the related 8-K filing, the amendment, among other things, extended the maturity date from January 23, 2022 to January 23, 2023, added two additional one-year extension options and reflected the assignment and reallocation of commitments among the existing lenders and the new lender on the facility.

Affiliates of JPMorgan and certain of the additional lenders have provided, and may in the future provide, investment and commercial banking and financial advisory services to Anadarko and its affiliates in the ordinary course of business, for which such affiliates have received and may continue to receive customary fees and commissions.

Anadarko Petroleum explores for, acquires and developes oil and natural gas resources. As of year’s end 2017, the company had approximately 1.44 billion barrels-equivalent of proved reserves, making it one of the world’s largest independent exploration and production companies.
