The International Factoring Association (IFA) has released its new digital publication, The Factoring Guide to Account Management.

The book offers best practices drawn from industry experts on a myriad of business processes and contains practical wisdom for account managers and risk managers at all stages in their careers.

“Account managers are charged with efficiently and effectively managing collateral performance for a portfolio of clients and ensuring compliance with policies and procedures in an ever-changing environment,” said IFA Executive Director Bert Goldberg. “This book is a great resource for professionals tasked with designing, implementing and monitoring account management processes for factors.”

The book covers a wide range of processes such as onboarding new client relationships, performing daily reviews of client funding positions, monitoring trends and client financial performance, and understanding clients enough to spot both warning signs and additional learning opportunities.

The publication is a helpful tool for professionals preparing for the IFA’s Certified Account Executive in Factoring certification program.

The guide can be purchased at the IFA’s online store. IFA members receive a $100 discount.
