The International Factoring Association named Robert Zadek of Buchalter as co-general counsel.

Zadek will join existing co-general counsel Steven N. Kurtz, partner of Levinson Arshonsky & Kurtz, and Michael Ullman, principal of Ullman & Ullman, who have served since the organization’s inception in 1999.

“Bob Zadek has worked on behalf of the IFA for decades and has been integral to our growth,” said Bert Goldberg, executive director of the International Factoring Association. “He offers exceptional experience and will be a great resource for our organization and members.”

For more than 20 years, Zadek has been a keynote speaker at the IFA’s Annual Convention. In addition, the IFA offers Zadek’s two-day course, “The Law and Business of Factoring,” which is attended by seasoned factoring executives, newcomers to the industry and their counsel.

Zadek focuses his practice on matters involving factoring, asset-based lending, purchase order financing, commercial loan documentation, trade finance and letters of credit, loan workouts and bankruptcy.
