Bert Goldberg, founder and executive director of the International Factoring Association (IFA) and American Factoring Association (AFA), was involved in a kiteboarding accident in Pismo Beach, CA, on May 25.

After two and a half weeks at a local hospital followed by three weeks at a rehabilitation center in northern California, Goldberg has returned home. He has full mobility in his upper body and is still working to regain lower body mobility, which has improved tremendously since the accident. Goldberg continues to remain positive and has seen no interruption in the services that the IFA or AFA provides to its members. He is looking forward to returning to the office and back to serving the factoring community.

Goldberg would like to thank everyone for all of their prayers, support and encouragement during this hard time.

Headquartered in Pismo Beach, CA and with over 400 corporate members, the International Factoring Association is an association of commercial finance companies in the world. Members include factoring companies, asset-based lenders and other receivable finance companies.
