Houlihan Lokey announced that Jennifer Muller has been appointed co-head of the firm’s transaction opinions practice alongside Chris Croft, who has been leading the practice since 2010.

Both Muller and Croft are managing directors in the firm’s financial advisory services business, with Croft based in New York and Muller based in San Francisco.

The transaction opinions practice advises boards of directors, special committees, and management teams in critical corporate transactions and renders financial opinions related to fairness, valuation, and solvency.

“Jennifer’s strong leadership abilities and passion for excellence make her perfectly suited to join Chris in leading this marquee practice at Houlihan Lokey,” said Jack W. Berka, global head of financial advisory services.

“I am thrilled to partner with Chris and help further grow the transaction opinions practice,” said Muller. “Houlihan Lokey has built a superior transaction opinions franchise over the past four decades, and I am confident that Chris and I will maintain the world-class level of service that our clients enjoy,” she continued.

“I’m excited to have Jennifer join me in leading this practice. Her transaction experience and dedication to client service have helped build the transaction opinion practice into the world-class platform it is today, and her leadership will ensure that our market-leading financial advice and transaction opinions will continue to serve our clients well,” said Croft.
