Houlihan Lokey announced Cory Daugard joined the firm as a managing director and head of the Oilfield Services practice within the Industrials Group. He is based in Dallas, reporting to Bill Peluchiwski and Jim Lavelle, co-heads of the Industrials Group.

Daugard joins from RBC Capital Markets, where he was most recently a managing director covering the U.S. oilfield services sector. Prior to RBC, he was a director with Huron Consulting Group’s Corporate Advisory practice and Arthur Andersen’s Corporate Finance practice where he focused on M&A, corporate finance and restructuring assignments, primarily in the energy industry.

“Having spent his entire career in the energy sector, and spending the last eight years focusing on oilfield services, Cory substantially increases our capabilities and client service in this critical sector. Adding a banker with his depth and breadth of experience will be tremendously valuable to our clients and to the continued success of the Industrials franchise,” said Peluchiwski.

“I’m delighted to have joined the Industrials team at Houlihan Lokey,” said Daugard. “I look forward to being part of a team known for the unmatched industry expertise and solutions-oriented client service that Houlihan Lokey consistently delivers to its clients.”
